Passionate about my work, I adore transforming looks, making people feel special, and cherish my clients, staff, and co-workers like family. I've created a unique salon space for creative minds and use top-tier products. I'm known for cutting, styling, colour, foiling, and balayage. I've worked in cities like London, Sydney, and taught for Schwarzkopf, gaining a Hall of Fame induction in 2008. My portfolio includes photo shoots, fashion week hair direction, editorial work, and styling for TV shows including Big Brother.

Hi, I'm Donna, a passionate hairdresser with 29 years of experience specializing in cutting and styling. My career took me to a renowned UK salon, then to Sydney to manage and train staff for a leading franchise. I also served as Hair Director for Australian Idol and X Factor. Now, I'm back on the Gold Coast, applying my expertise at Salon Nook. The most fulfilling part of my work is meeting clients and building relationships, providing stylish transformations they love. Through years of experience and a genuine passion for my craft, I continue to make my mark in the hairdressing industry.

You will learn very quickly that I am French. My writing and accent are a dead giveaway.  

It's been almost 14 years since I studied at AFCO to become a hairstylist. After all this time, I still find the passionate spark that ignited my interest initially. 

I'm lucky enough to have worked in France, Switzerland, Guadeloupe & Australia. Seeing how different professionals operate throughout the world has taught me a unique skillset and for that I'm very grateful. 

The Colour Queen

Im Karen, Starting my hairdressing journey on the Gold Coast right after high school was one of the best decisions of my life. This fun endeavour quickly turned into my passion, my work. Seeking to broaden my horizons, I moved to London, setting up shop on the prestigious King's Road, where I discovered my true calling - hair colouring.

I love creating seamless colour work and sun-kissed, lived-in looks. Every client is a new canvas for me, an opportunity to create something unique, from creamy blondes to golden blondes, and warm, natural brunettes. Foils and balayage have become my specialty, letting me play with a myriad of textures and shades.

My attention to detail and my passion for colour have helped me build a fiercely loyal clientele who return to my salon month after month. I take pride in giving my clients hair transformations they fall in love with, validating my belief that when fun evolves into passion, it indeed creates wonderful work.

I'm Blade, a meticulous barber with six years under my belt, passionate about perfecting each cut. My journey wasn't instantaneous; my relentless pursuit of excellence led to my rise in the American Crew All-Star Competition, placing in the Top 20 in 2018 and clinching national and global titles in 2019. Recognition in InStyle and Barbershop Magazine affirmed my growing reputation. I also placed in the Top 20 at the Mizutani World Cutting Photo Contest in 2021. I'm an educator for American Crew and Tommy Guns, sharing my knowledge. I love what I do, and it shows in the precision of my work and clients' satisfaction.
